15 Subwoofers
15 subwoofers are a great way to add powerful bass to any car or home
theater system...Read below for in depth reviews!
There are a ton of 15 subwoofers out there on the market right now, and the
sad thing is that a lot of them aren't worth $10, simply because they just don't work very well.
However, you don't really know that while you're shopping...You have no way
of really trying them out.
But, that's where I come in!
See, what I can do is give you a starting point...Show you what's good and
what's not!
That way you can greatly increase the likelihood that you'll get a 15
subwoofer that perfectly meets your needs!
So I've divided this review up into 2 sections...I have one section for car
audio, where I'll talk about my favorite 15 subwoofers for your automobile...And
the other section will cover if you're looking to round out your home theater system with a nice solid 15 inch
sub.
Subwoofer For Your Car
My recommendation here has to be the Pyle PL1590BL, and here's
why:
For one, this subwoofer is very VERY affordable...Sitting at around $50 you
probably aren't going to find a better deal anywhere for a subwoofer of this size and power.
Oh that's right, did I also mention that it has a peak power rating of 1400
watts? That's pretty massive...Especially for a $50 sub.
In addition you get a very sturdy blue injected cone, a chrome plated basket
and dual voice coils.
All this basically means that you'll be getting a very reliable 15 subwoofer
that will be sounding great for a very long time. It's got durability, reliability coupled with great
sound.
Which brings me to my last point...This subwoofer sounds incredible. It's
just a massive speaker, and it makes massive noise. But it's not BAD massive...It's kind of silly how good quality
the sound is.
I can't remember the last time I liked a 15 subwoofer this much.
Subwoofer For Your Home
My recommendation for this category is the MTX 15" powered
subwoofer.
Now, here's what you'll be getting with this guy:
You'll be getting a subwoofer that can produce frequencies so low it shakes
your eye balls, all without making a single peep of distortion or anything like that.
You'll be getting a 250 watt subwoofer that is louder than just about any
other 250 watt sub that I've ever heard.
You'll be getting a subwoofer that both looks good and sounds good. It's also
incredibly easy to set up in your home, since it has input and output for just about any type of setup.
Well, that about sums up my reviews! I suggest checking out the 15 subwoofers
that I've listed here, then after looking at them seeing what you think, and then going from there, whether that
means making a purchase or to keep looking.
