Looking for a good solid subwoofer for your car can be very difficult.

But hey, you've gotten a good start if you've already decided that you want to go with kicker subwoofers!

What I'd like to do for you, to help you out, is talk to you about what my 3 favorite kicker subwoofers are...

Hopefully what this can do for you is that it'll get you at least moving towards finding the right subwoofer for you, even if you don't like any of the 3 that I give you here.

I'm going to list the subs in order of price, with the cheapest one first and the most expensive one last.

#1 - Kicker Comp 07C124 - $50

This guy is probably gonna be the best sub in this budget range...Basically you get a nice solid 12 inch sub that is both reliable and durable.

As far as specs go it's actually kind of impressive...You get your 12 inch sub with a 4-Ohm impedance...You actually don't really have to seal this kicker subwoofer in a box, it works just fine in free air, with 300 watts peak power you're getting a pretty loud sub, and then you also get your 27 - 500 response frequencies.

Basically, without getting all technical, this is a great sub, and it's at a great price. If you find yourself in this budget range, or want to buy 2 of these guys instead of 1 more expensive one, then you can't go wrong with the Kicker Comp.

#2 - Kicker CompVR - $80

Alright, so this kicker subwoofer is basically just the upgraded model of it's cheaper little brother.

You still get a great and affordable subwoofer that works well and rarely malfunctions...

The main differences are the injection molded cone that's made of the highest quality materials...aluminized coating and 360 degree back bracing...as well as the significantly higher max wattage...You get 800 watts peak power instead of 300, more than double!

Anyways, if you're at a slightly higher budget range and you've got the money, I really suggest you check out this Kicker subwoofer.

#3 - Kicker 08S12L74 Solo-Baric - $200

Alright, now this is sort of the cream of the crop when it comes to a single kicker subwoofers...This incredible piece of machinery makes you feel like heaven has come to earth in the form of incredible clean and deep bass.

You're gonna get the full coverage back bracing, but you're getting 1500 watt peak power instead of 800, and you're also getting slightly different response frequencies...25 - 100.

There's really no way to quantify the way that this subwoofer sounds...You just have to listen to it for youtself...It really is a pleasure though.
