There's no better solution to great sounding bass than MTX subwoofers...Keep
reading to learn what to look for and why!
MTX subwoofers have proven again and again that they're serious when it comes
to car audio...
You're doing a great job, already, if you've decided that you'd like to look
around for a god MTX sub.
However, just picking out a brand is only half the battle...From there, of
course, you're going to need to pick up a model too, and that part can be pretty difficult.
Luckily, you've got me here =)
What I'd like to do for you is talk about some of my personal picks...I'd
like to give you some pretty in depth recommendations and reviews about my favorite MTX subwoofers, and hopefully that will help you to pick out your own!
Alright, well I don't want to waste either your time or my time, so let's go
ahead and get going, shall we?
MTX JackHammer - $60 - Alright, now I'm going to level with
you...This probably actually is not my favorite subwoofer, however, that's purely personal, and I'd like you to
make up your own mind about this, because I know that some people really love this guy.
Basically, as far as stats go you're getting a nice 12" MTX subwoofer (4
ohm), you get a nice sturdy cone (polyprene) that's built to last with a nice sturdy rubber stitch.
Here's my beef with this subwoofer...It's only got 250 watts peak power...Not
really a big deal by itself because some subs really do a great job with a low wattage like that, but with this
subwoofer it actually just doesn't quite get loud enough for my tastes.
Now, the sound quality is great, so if you don't think you'll be using this
subwoofer for extremely and grossly loud music, then hey, go for it, but it's just not my taste.
MTX TNP112D Sub + Amp Combo - $150 - This guy is probably
one of the best deals that you're going to find on any subwoofer, let alone any of the MTX subwoofers, and the
reason is because of the amplifier that this guy comes with AND you get a pretty good quality enclosure, all for
under $200...And let me tell you what, that's a good deal.
It's a 250 watt amplifier, and let me say, it's actually really impressive.
Really, the amplifier alone is probably worth $100, and so is the subwoofer. You're saving probably over $50 by
going with this combo.
The enclosure is pretty standard, it's attractive looking and it
works.
As for the MTX subwoofer, what can I say, it's pretty dang good. It's got a
very clean bass, especially considering how much you're paying for it.
High quality sound that can get REAL loud =)
Anyways, that about wraps up my recommendations...Best of luck looking
through MTX subwoofers and picking the best one for you...I know you'll be
satisfied!
